Images that I like the idea of:
Photographers I like the work of:
Damien Bapst:
Damien Bapst is a photographer who likes taking images of everyday scene and people but In the way he takes hes images and edited them he is able to show them in a whole different light to what they first look like. Bapst is also a artiest and likes showing he work in ways that not a lot of people have seen before, most of hes work is shown to be very surrealism and very out there to other work around the world. he is from Paris but does travel a lot of he photography work. I love how he makes a image which has been taken in the everyday world to seen as if it hasn't been so the real in a very unreal way.
Andrew Gubrenko:
Andrew is a award winning photographer for his work on family and children's photography how ever he also that's a lot of portrait images that are very surrealism keeping with his theme in all of his photography work he like to create beautiful images that show the nature and beauty within people. even know his surrealism portrait are not want he won the award for and not as well know he still like to do them for fun. I really like he's surrealism work and I also like the way he titles the work to.
Tatyana Chaiko:
There was not a lot I could find on this photographer how ever I do know that the photographer is still taking photos today and I was also able to find a lot of there work and was able to find out that you are able to added them on twitter or Facebook to see there for ever growing work or they have a free website that anyone can go on to see there old and new work. the website is called https://500px.com/chaiko. Not being able to get a lot of information on the photographer has not stop me form like there work I really like the way this photographer work has build on all the other photographers work I have looked at with not just flying people but flying objects as well.
Pini Hamou:
Pini Hamou is a surrealism photographer who likes looking at unreal things and who like to create the idea of unreal and magic within there own photography work. Hamou likes looking at the unreal world things that are made up, this is what he likes to base his work on most of his work has a theme like for example the idea of Alice and wonderland and how ever thing within the idea of that title is unreal and fairy tale and made up. this is what he likes to do within his won work. I really like Hamous work as it makes the person viewing the image sim very mystery.
Photo shoot 1:
In this photo shoot I used the idea from the photographer's Andrew Gubrenko and Tatyana Chaiko with the idea of making a surrealism image with the use of flying objects around someone in a open place. I pick to use of death like objects to added more mysteries to the photo therefore I thing making it a bit more surrealism at the same time. I used photo shop to help me edit this image by making different layers and by changing the blend mode of the different flying objects to help them stand out more and so that they all looked different too.
WWW: in this photo shoot I think it went really well I feel I was able to get a final image from my first image that I found when doing my surrealism research and I was able to build on my Photoshop skills when doing this image within the idea in photo shop using different layers to edit the image to have more than one flying objects.
EBI: I found it really hard to make the images within the background look more surreal. If I was to do this photo shoot again I would make sure I tried a different background and objects to see if that would change the mood of the image.

Photo shoot 2 development from photo shoot 1:
In this photo shoot I used both images from shoot 1 and development shoot 2 and put both images in to photo shop I first got image one from shoot 2 and cut out the model I than moved the cut out on top of the other image from shoot 1 I than moved the opacity level down to 52% and moved the top layer a round in till I was happy when the 2 images where seating and the over all image look good. I than chanced the top image to the divide level to give it that ghostly look to it. I than to end the editing and make the image force more on the model I cropped the image down to size so that there wads no long unwanted background within the image.
WWW: I feel that this image fits the theme of the project really well and I was able to build on my photo shop skills when editing this image. I also think this image was really good as I was able to use images for other photo shoots and develop and build on them in more than one way.
EBI: if I was to do this photo again I would get a different model and have to different models to make the image look more surrealism, I would also would have like to been able to chance the background to make that fit the theme of the image to make it more scary. |
In this photo shoot I uses two different layer images one of the background and the other with my model and the background I cut out my model and than moved just my model to the background layer. I like the idea of maybe being able to add the two images together.
WWW: this image was a small development from my first image I like it as I've look at the idea of the model flying and not the objects and it went well so therefor I know I could build on the idea and add the two images together.
EBI: changing the angle of the model may make the image look better as a type of surrealism photo. |
Photo shoot 3:
This was a quick mini photo shoot to test the image of adding a image to a eye a bit like the photographer Damien Bapst. I feel like doing this makes the images look out of place and cool. I like this photo shoot as well as it would be really easy to build on the idea and add different objects on top or within the eyes.
In this side show you can see the different colours and levels I have edited in photo shop with the same image. I showed the images as a slide show as it aloud anyone that looks at it, to see the different types of images that are so a like but do have different to them.
